In 1998, Shannon found six-month-old Shendo at a local rescue, and he remained by her side for the next 20 years. He represents the strength and force found within each of us to persevere, overcome, and thrive.

Shendo was the epitome of the resolve necessary to be a winning athlete. He was also the laid-back friend by your side when you just wanted to enjoy the journey. A perfect mascot, he will live on here at Shendo Cat Racing as our beloved spokes-cat. We hope he inspires you to race or volunteer.
