GIRLS ON THE RUN: The Official Charity of XTERRA Arizona Trail Run Series!

As you may or may not know, Girls on the Run of Maricopa and Pinal Counties the official charity of the XTERRA Arizona Trail Run Series.

What exactly does that mean? 

It means that a portion of every registration dollar you pay goes to support this program.  It means that over the years we (i.e. you) have contributed over $20,000, enabling GOTR to provide outreach and programming to more than 130 local girls in need. This equates to funding for 13 full teams!

You can also show your support by running the annual GOTR 5k on April 29, 2023, at Wesley Bolin Plaza. Registration is only $40 if you register before 3/31.

AZ TRAIL RACE is a proud supporter of GOTR and donates a percentage of all profits to this inspiring organization.  This means a portion of your registration fees are going directly to encouraging and inspiring the next generation to keep on running.

Girls on the Run, serving Maricopa & Pinal Counties, is a life-changing, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to inspire girls to be healthy and confident. Using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running, the innovative program combines training for a 5k (3.1 miles) running event with interactive lessons that encourage positive emotional, social, mental, and physical development. Over the past 10 years, Girls on the Run serving Maricopa and Pinal Counties has served more than 6,000 girls in 3rd – 8th grades.
